TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MAKING A PURCHASE
We want your purchase to be as simple and easy as possible. Orders
can therefore be placed through our webshop, by phone, fax or letter
- whichever you prefer. Before phoning, please have your payment
card ready.
PAYMENT TERMS:
All purchases must be pre-paid in full. Please allow 5 working days
for cheques to clear through the banking system prior to despatch.
Please make cheques payable to Ionovate.
TAX:
UK Value Added Tax at 17.5% is included in our prices and will be
charged on all orders sent to destinations within the EEC.
DESPATCH:
Under normal circumstances you can expect to receive your goods
well within 21 days of order. If we are out of stock we will contact
you immediately to advise how long the delay is expected to be.
Should you wish to cancel your order at that stage you can do so.
Payment will not be deducted until the day of despatch.
DELIVERY:
We aim to despatch all orders received before noon on the same day.
BACK ORDERS:
If we are temporarily out of stock we will contact you immediately
to advise how long the delay is expected to be. Should you wish
to cancel your order at that stage you can do so. Payment will not
be deducted until the day of despatch.
WARRANTY:
Ionovate products carry a statutory warranty covering
faulty components and workmanship for a period of 12 months.
RETURNS POLICY:
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you must return
it to us in its original condition within 60 days of receipt for
a prompt replacement, exchange or refund. Unless the product is
faulty, a £10 handling fee will be deducted from your refund.
Should the unit be damaged or scratched an additional deduction
will be made to cover the cost of refurbishment.
Faulty or defective items: If you return an
item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, we will
happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must
be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Returning a gift: We are happy to exchange faulty
or defective products that have been sent as a gift. If a refund
is required however, please note that refunds of the purchase price
for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser.
Items lost in transit: We cannot be held responsible
for packages being returned by you that are lost in transit: as
you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend
sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
Refunds, replacement and exchanges:
A refund, replacement or exchange will be processed within 7 working
days of receipt of the returned item(s) by Ionovate. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was
used to make the initial purchase. Please note that item(s) that
are returned to us that are not due to our error will have £10
deducted from the refund.
Please note, in all instances Ionovate shall not
be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including
but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial
losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Ionovate strongly believes in keeping your personal
information confidential. Any personal information we receive from
you will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998
and other applicable laws. The details we receive will only be used
to process your order, to maintain guarantee records and to provide
after-sales service.
From time to time we may send you information about
new products, research and application findings or special offers
unless you advise us otherwise.
The data you enter on the payment page is submitted
direct to HSBC who will process your payment on their secure payment
site. That data is not available to Ionovate.
Your rights
(1) You can ask us to update your personal information by emailing
precise details of your request to enquiries@ionovate.com.
Please ensure you type "update" in the subject line of
your email.
(2) You can ask us not to send you future marketing communications.
To do this, simply email enquiries@ionovate.com and type
"No Marketing" in the subject line and then the following
in the main text:-
· your full name
· your postal address, including postcode
· your email address
We will then suppress your data from all direct marketing,
although we will still keep it for processing your order and fulfilling
customer service and after sale obligations.

Ionovate takes its relationships with customers
very seriously, and we expend a great deal of effort ensuring that
