Ionovate, manufacturer of myairZone, is the leading
UK manufacturer of ionisers for homes and personal use; and of air
ionisation equipment specifically designed for businesses and hospitals.
It has a strong technical research & development capability
and a long history of co-operation with medical and environmental
researchers investigating the benefits of air ions for personal,
community and corporate health.
Ionovate also produces an extensive range of
commercial ionisers, air purifiers and ion measurement instruments.
Its research has covered the relief of bronchitis,
asthma, hayfever, allergies and tension conditions; the treatment
of burns, wounds and skin complaints; post-operative recovery; concentration;
the welfare and efficiency of staff working within modern offices

Ionovate, originally called Medion,
was founded by C.A. "Coppy" Laws and Idries Shah in 1969.
Laws, developer of naval radar and pioneer of Britain's post-war
automation industry, launched air ion therapy in the UK and 'domesticated'
the technology. The company is now run by two of his sons, Keith
and Julian.
